STEM+ in 3D: Virtual Worlds

4/7/2012

Virtual worlds are powerful.  They can allow students to visualize difficult topics, experience dangerous situation, and collaborate across the globe.  This presentation will take you on a tour of STEM islands and curriculum that already exist, as well as a discussion of how we can work together to meet our Catalyst needs in a new virtual world.  Please bring your laptop and be ready to download a virtual world viewer for a truly immersive experience.

A workshop presentation at the HP Catalyst Summit, Beijing, China - April 13 2012
