QR Codes and Augmented Reality

The newest gadget for techies are QR codes. These are codes that you can use with a webcam or phone camera to link to text or online resources. The code on the left links to my website. These are popping up on t-shirts, magazines, advertisements, and business cards.

Although they look similar, Augmented Reality Markers can create 3-D images and videos through a webcam.   Hallmark is on the AR Marker bandwagon with a series of interactive greeting cards. Try out an educational application at Sponholtz Productions. Print out the cards and test your knowledge of chemistry!
